The Cornix Split Board is Jezail’s 2025 entry into a new frontier of ergonomic keyboards. Inspired by the classic split board Corne, we refined its layout with key modifications—including an added tenting mode—to accommodate a wider range of users.

We named it Cornix, embodying our commitment to delivering a truly elegant and comfortable typing experience. While retaining the signature 3x6 column-staggered layout, our engineering team introduced three major upgrades:

1. Expanded Thumb Cluster
   Building on the Corne’s original 3-key thumb arc, Cornix adds 3 extra programmable keys per side. This enhances stability in tenting mode while preserving muscle memory for 40% keyboard enthusiasts and reducing the learning curve for new ortholinear users.
2. Patented Adjustable Tenting Mechanism
   User tests confirm that our exclusive tenting system (with adjustable angles) significantly reduces wrist strain and RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) during prolonged typing compared to flat keyboards.
3. Premium CNC Aluminum Case
   While most split boards rely on DIY 3D-printed cases, Cornix features a multi-color anodized CNC aluminum chassis 
   Rebuilt with Kailh Spring Mini low-profile switches it offers Jezail’s proprietary LCK (transparent PC) or LAK (PBT low-profile) keycaps—elevating both functionality and CMF (Color-Material-Finishing) aesthetics.
