This PCB comes with one daughterboard (DB) of your choice, and you can buy other daughterboards to pair with it as well. These support direct compatibility with:
- OEM HHKB Pro3 DB
- OEM HHKB Pro 3 Mini DB
- OEM HHKB Pro 2 (with or without hub)
- GH60 cases via ai03 DB—perfect for MX-to-EC conversions
You can also order all daughterboards in one package with the PCB for maximum compatibility.

Introduction for V2 PCB
The EM60 V1 PCB was a significant milestone in the custom EC sector. It served as the first PCB capable of simultaneous compatibility with HHKB Classic/Hybrid and Pro 2 cases, while also providing full support for standard GH60 tray-mount cases and expansion for up to five daughterboards.
Driven by market feedback and a commitment to absolute compatibility, we are formally launching the comprehensively optimized EM60 V2. This version is meticulously engineered to eliminate all potential assembly impediments and enhance overall performance.
Core Upgrades and Innovative Features
Connector Port Upgrade: JST to Molex Ultra-Slim Connection
The V1's JST port, with a thickness of 4.5mm, frequently caused interference with certain cases, impacting the user experience. The V2 main PCB transitions to the ultra-thin Molex connector, which completely resolves the clearance issues encountered with V1 in various housings.
To ensure seamless compatibility with V1 daughterboards and most existing DBs, the accompanying cable has been customized to a Molex-to-JST format.
Extreme RGB Backlighting Optimization
V2 upgrades from larger LEDs to ultra-thin LEDs and drastically increases the count to over 100pcs. This optimization strategy—reducing size to prevent interference while increasing count to ensure brightness—significantly improves both the overall brightness and the uniformity of the backlighting.
Type-C Interface Snappable Design
To maximize versatility, V2 adopts a break-away Type-C port design. Users can choose to retain or remove the connector based on their specific needs, enabling a seamless transition between standard GH60 cases and custom EC enclosures.
Structural Stability
V2 incorporates the addition of multiple screw points. This upgrade ensures better mounting security and long-term stability, particularly for non-standard layouts like WKL.
